Join us on Zoom this winter to learn all about sourcing materials for, creating, and finishing Balmain buttonholes. This buttonhole is a form of bound buttonhole which extends to the edge of the garment and was used by French couturier Pierre Balmain in the 1960s.
Professor King will share his techniques for turning out this couture finish professionally every time. He wrote about the technique in a recent issue of Threads magazine. Here’s your chance to learn how to do it directly from him!
We will not be posting recordings of this class and students are advised to check that they can readily access Zoom before class.
Be sure to tag your samples with #kennethdkingonline and #twinsnneedlesevents
