Sew great unmentionables in this fun class! You must purchase an underwear pattern for this class. Lara will provide a suggested pattern list.
Along with your pattern, you will need:
.5 yards of knit fabric with at least 50% stretch in the crosswise grain such as cotton/spandex, nylon/spandex or polyester/spandex blends
A small piece of cotton jersey for the gusset lining approx. 8″ x 8″ (a good way to source this is to sacrifice an old tee shirt)
1.5 yards of fold-over elastic for the waist
1.5 yards of soft, 1/4-inch elastic for the legs
Kits of latex-free elastic for legs and waistbands are available for $10 (shipping included). Kits include enough elastic for two pairs of panties in most sizes. You may also use your own elastic.
